CNC router spindle milling a pocket into a solid-wood board

CNC milling in Riga: wood, MDF, plywood and sheet materials

2D and 3D milling, engraving and nesting on a 1500 × 3000 mm field, with positioning accuracy up to 0.1 mm and an 8-tool changer.

What you get

  • Files from your sketch

Bring a drawing, a hand sketch or an image. We vectorise it, build the 2D or 3D model and write the G-code.

  • Fewer sheets to pay for

We nest the parts before cutting so offcuts stay small. On large orders, the layout decides how many sheets you pay for.

  • The hundredth part matches

For a series we cut a first article, check the fit with you, then run the batch from the same file.

The CNC router: size, depth, accuracy

The 1500 × 3000 mm field takes panels up to three metres long in one set-up, and 300 mm of Z travel leaves room for thick solid blanks and deep 3D relief.

Positioning accuracy up to 0.1 mm keeps joints, inlays and batch parts fitting. The 9 kW spindle cuts hardwood at a steady feed, and a vacuum table holds sheets flat.

Silent loop: the CNC router milling a profile along a pine board

2D and 3D milling, engraving, nesting

2D milling cuts profiles, cut-outs, pockets, grooves and holes in flat material. 3D milling shapes reliefs, curved faces and forms from a solid block. Engraving adds lettering, patterns, markings and logos you own.

Typical orders are furniture parts, relief panels, architectural models, signage and 3D letters, display stands, and parts for our own interiors, gaming tables and desks.

Materials: solid wood, MDF, plywood, acrylic

We cut solid wood, MDF, plywood, chipboard, HPL, acrylic, PVC and composite panels, including aluminium composite. Each needs its own cutter, speed and feed: acrylic must not melt at the edge, MDF needs a clean profile, solid wood tears if cut against the grain.

Unsure which board to use? Tell us what the part has to do, and we will suggest one.

File preparation and checks before cutting

Send a finished model, a technical drawing, a hand sketch or an image. We also repair files with open contours or broken geometry.

Before cutting we confirm the dimensions, the material thickness, the tolerances that matter and the visible edges. A short check saves a sheet of material and a day of work.

FAQ

What is the largest part you can mill?
The working field is 1500 × 3000 mm and the Z travel is 300 mm. Larger assemblies can be split into parts that are joined after milling; we plan the joints with you in the file.
Do you take single pieces or only series?
Both. The workshop makes prototypes and one-off parts as well as series of identical parts cut from the same file.
Can you supply the material?
Yes, or you can bring your own. Tell us the material and thickness you have in mind and we will confirm whether it suits the part and the machine.
How do I get a quote?
Send the drawing or sketch, the material, the thickness and the quantity. We quote each job on its own, based on material, machine time and file preparation.

Planning something similar?

Send a short description, photos or drawings. We will reply with questions and the next practical step.
