From design to the finished table

In a broadcast studio the gaming table is part of the set. The camera frames it for the whole game, so the base, edges and finish are seen at close range.

We handle design, manufacture and installation, including connecting the table's light. As the same team fits out studios, tables are drawn against the set they stand in.

Bases and finishes we have made

One set of tables has white high-gloss tops with rounded edges on sculpted pedestal bases with LED accents. Other tables stand on dark cylinders wrapped in gold strands, each on a plinth with an LED ring at floor level.

In the studio on our live-casino page, the dealer table has a faceted base lit from inside. Each base is designed for its studio.

Parts machined in our own workshop

What Else runs its own CNC woodworking workshop. It handles large table tops and base parts as well as small components that repeat many times.

Parts for tables of one type are cut from the same machining program, so the tables match. A revised part can be milled and checked without waiting for an outside supplier.

Operator equipment and built-in light

Felts, wheels, card shoes, discard holders and cameras come from the operator. We take their dimensions from the operator's specification and draw recesses, openings and fixing points into the table before manufacture.

Cables run through the base and plinth, out of camera view. Drivers are placed with access for service, and the table light can be linked to the studio's lighting control.

FAQ

Do you make tables to our own drawings?
Yes. We can work from drawings supplied by the operator or a designer, or develop the design with you from a brief. In both cases we check the dimensions against the operator's equipment and the set before manufacture.
Do you supply felts, wheels and card equipment?
No. Gaming equipment is the operator's. We build the table so that the operator's felt, wheel or shoe fits it, using the dimensions and positions from the operator's specification.
Can the table base include lighting?
Yes. Our tables have used LED accents, LED-lit plinths and faceted bases lit from inside. The lighting is designed with the base and can be connected to the studio's lighting control.
Which parts do you make in-house?
Timber and board components can be machined in our own CNC workshop. At the design stage we tell you which parts we make ourselves and which come from other suppliers.
